Namaste Y'all:
We are writing to get you excited about Kashi Atlanta's upcoming Holiday Street Meals program where we come together to create 500 loaded backpacks (loaded with goodies and essentials) for our Street Meals Friends.
The success of this effort relies on the involvement of our entire extended Kashi family!
Here's how you can help:
1. Come and assemble backpacks at Kashi on Friday, Dec. 13th at 6:00 p.m. It's a festive and exhilarating experience! **KASHI IS LOCATED AT 1681 MC CLENDON AVE - ATLANTA, GA 30307**
2. Bring your cheer as we deliver the backpacks at the Peachtree Pine Street Men's Shelter on Saturday, Dec. 14th at 1:00 p.m.. We will all meet at the Ashram then carpool from Kashi at approximately 12:30.
3. Donate money in support of purchasing items that are not donated. You can do so at the Kashi front desk or by calling 404-687-3353. Every bit helps!
4. Donate the following items:
Backpacks (new or gently used)
Hats, scarves, gloves (new or gently used), and socks (new) - PLEASE NO OTHER CLOTHING!
Blankets (the light, fleecy kind)
