Wild and Edible Mushrooms . . .
We came upon these 'Chantrelle' mushrooms in Gilmer County, Georgia, while on a walk in the woods with our dogs.
They do taste abit like chicken when cooked.
*Use caution when picking and eating from the wild. Mushrooms can be confusing and deadly, if you're incorrect.
I took a course on 'Wild Edible Foods' when I was in college.
We foraged then returned to campus and cooked the wild picked foods. It was one of my all time favorite classes, and it met on Saturdays.
