Couldn't Resist Buying Bags Of Tulips . . .

Over the years, when I have hesitated purchasing Spring bulbs, when they are first available, and the vendors later run out, I swear that I'm never waiting again.
This week was no exception.
Our temperatures in Atlanta are finally holding at a point where we can sleep with the windows open, at night. The temps can still go back to 90+ for another month.
I know . . . buying Spring bulbs right now is like the Big Box Stores putting out Christmas decorations before Halloween (which has occurred at our local Costco Warehouses).
I just could not resist these tulips :
Before my Fall planting is done at the Ashram, I will most likely plant 300 tulips, again this year, at the end of December. The beds last Spring, were insanely beautiful!
Here are a few photos by Michael Koenig (www.vacantmoon.viewbook.com)of the 2010 Kashi Atlanta Tulip Beds. They are posted with his permission.
Remember to prep your flower beds before planting.
