Atlanta Audubon Society

The other day, I had an opportunity to spend an entire day with our friends, Rebeca and Margo, on an Atlanta Audubon Society Backyard Wildlife Sanctuary Tour in areas unfamiliar to us. Their locations were OTP (Outside The Perimeter).
Horrified on many levels as we drove into subdivisions that had been greatly deforested, we were amazed by what people had done to re-welcome and care for the birds. Their love and attention to detail was astounding !
WELL DONE ! During the day, we were buzzed by dozens of hummingbirds !
All three of us learned alot and enjoyed the beautiful, cloudless Fall day, right down to the great picnic lunch Rebeca had packed for us.
