Kashi Atlanta's Garden Buddha

This Buddha has always been with us.
For the several years that we have been in our current location, Buddha has anchored a corner Garden at Kashi Atlanta Ashram.
Purple leaf lorapetalum wraps around Buddha, creating a quiet and private space in a busy, urban neighborhood. In the late summer, the periwinkle flowers of the 'Mexican Petunia' (ruellia) mix in between the lorapetalum branches. In the spring, it's lilac blooms of bearded iris.
I've often watched young toddlers place a flower or cookie at the Buddha's feet.
We have shared alot . . . this Buddha and I. Now, we both have crumbling knees.
