Snapdragons . . .

There was a special on large snapdragons at a local retail nursery that left me penniless.
My favorite variety are the 'Fire Rockets,' which get taller than 2 feet.
A year ago, I had planted many snaps at the Ashram. Several are still blooming after 12 months. They have been frequently deadheaded, which may have helped.
If these snaps had been in a 'commercial' Garden, they would have been removed due to a somewhat weak appearance. Peppered in between the Echinacae, or daisies, hibiscus, in the urns or among the lorapetalum they look sweet.
