What If the 3 Stooges Were Buddhist . . . ?

What if "To the moon, Alice" (a frequent remark by Jackie Gleason in the 'Honeymooners") had a sweet and tender heart attached to it ?
Would a generation have grown up with a more sensitive, loving Nature . . . sooner ?
Would we have sought to protect the Environment . . . sooner ?
Yesterday, I read, in a past issue of 'Sierra' magazine, that the ozone layer is so thin that whales off of the Gulf Coast of California are getting sunburned.
What if the 3 Stooges bowed to honor each other without the eye poking to follow ?
What would we have learned, then ?
If the 'Honeymooners' ever got out of their apartment and got some sunlight (vitamin D), would their dispositions have improved ? (Sure . . . the drinking slowed down their evolutionary processes alot.)
