No place is as beautiful as Atlanta in the Spring !!!

Our Spring, here, has been as gorgeous as her storms have been furious.

Atlanta is a city of Gardeners.  Our weather is pretty perfect until Summer rolls in, accompanied with drought conditions /watering restrictions , and the challenge to embrace the 'newest' succulents on the market.

My favorite people seem to have always been Gardeners and Cooks.  There is a generousity of spirit cultivated in the sharing. . . . .  a gratitude in the knowing of it all as a gift.
As a child, I wanted to grow up to be just like them.

Today is May 1st.  My hope is that Spring will extend a few weeks before Summer's heat melts metal into asphalt.  (Several yrs ago, a nail melted into the street in front of our house.  I've never been able to get it out.)

My prayers are extended to the families and victims of last week's tornados that left unbelieveable devastation  throughout the South Eastern States.
