Moving of a Gardener's Garden

Yesterday, I began the moving of my new friend's Garden.
Approaching her home took my breath away! ! !
The roses . . . their fragrance, color, size of blooms were seductive.

She has old plants with fresh lables and loving stories with memories of the gifter.
Her Father gave her a cherished daylilly that made today's trip to her new home.
She is still fussing over having had paid $8 for some scrawnie little something years ago.
And her Native Collection and the Heirloom Rose on its own stock, were treasures ! ! !
I have tended many roses and have been very impressed by her Garden.
Hopefully, our unusually cool weather these past few days will help her plants make an easy transition from North Georgia to a new home with more sun in Atlanta.
The blue bird nesting box her Father mounted before his death was full of chirping babies and attentive parents. You just can't watch the magic of it all without smiling.
Though a Gardener's roots run deep, they need tender care.
